GDG Enugu's DevFest Season 2015 second event will target Google lovers in coal city who love android and will love to get a head start in developing for the android platform. We will also accommodate intermediate and advanced developers who are keen in learning the intricacies of material design and developing for the Google's Cardboard SDK and the awesomeness of Virtual Reality. This event will be channeled towards female developers but everyone between the ages of 10 and 45 years is invited to register. Click the registration button above to register for this event. This event is FREE and will feature extensive hands on code-labs, so attendees should come with fast laptops and chargers. Neighboring GDG's who wish to attend should indicate their participation while filling out the event registration form so adequate reservations would be made.

To participate and follow along as a beginner you need to come to the event with a laptop that is fast and bug free and have the following installed

  • Android Studio 1.3 or higer- visit developers.android.com for simple step by step installation info and download link
  • Java SDK 1.7
  • Git and GitHub for windows users
